【圖書館】Turnitin帳號申請/Turnitin account application

Turnitin主要用於比對個人論文與其它資料相似文字的百分比率,在使用者上傳個人文檔資料後,與線上期刊、網頁資料、其他使用者有開放比對的檔案相互比對,提供使用者在論文完成前可再次確認文獻內容。
使用者可參考比對後產生的報告,調整或修正個人論文內容,並檢視引用文獻是否有遺漏之處,以降低被質疑剽竊的可能,進而提升論文之可信度及品質。

目前,本校Turnitin帳號採申請制,說明如下:(請詳閱以下文字後,再提出申請!!)

1. Turnitin帳號本校教師及研究生申請使用為原則使用期限以每學期為單位,期限屆滿可視情況申請延長。
    (其他非應屆畢業研究生申請,使用期限為一個月,若為教授指定課堂使用或專題報告等學術用途,請來信告知使用原因,email:bluecian@mail.mcu.edu.tw)

2. 請填寫以下申請表格,於三個工作天會收到「Turnitin啟用通知信」(寄到您的校內信箱哦!!)(若沒有收到信件,請檢查是否被歸為垃圾信件),請依說明啟用帳號。

3.第一次登入信箱請參考資網處公告(https://reurl.cc/q84ADy),若遇信箱帳號未建立者或忘記登入密碼者,請參考資網處FAQ(https://reurl.cc/av8mr9)或電洽校內分機1999。

Turnitin is an Internet-based plagiarism-prevention service created by iParadigms, LLC. Typically, universities and high schools buy licenses to submit essays to the Turnitin website, which checks the documents for unoriginal content.
The results can be used to identify similarities to existing sources or can be used in formative assessment to help students learn how to avoid plagiarism and improve their writing.

Teachers and students must apply for an account before using it.The explanation is as follows:

1. In general, Turnitin account application is solely open to the teachers and postgraduates in the school with the period of one semester, and the application for extension of the timeframe could be granted under certain circumstances at the end of the period.

2.Please fill in the application form below, and you will receive a "Turnitin activation notification letter" within three working days (if you have not received the letter, please check whether it is classified as spam).Please follow the instructions to activate your account.

3.For those who have not created a mailbox account or forgotten their login password, please refer to the announcement of the Information and Network Division (https://reurl.cc/7Xm1G1) or call the school extension 1999.
