Program Description:
To enhance students' employment competitiveness, the program invites outstanding professionals from the industry to serve as course instructors through the dual-teacher system, integrating theory with practice. This aims to strengthen the connection between education and industry, nurturing high-quality professionals with practical skills and employability, thereby reducing the gap between educational offerings and industry talent needs.
Funding: Hourly rate for external domestic experts: NT$2,000 per hour. Please submit separate applications for different courses, with a limit of two applications per course (i.e., 2 credits for 4 hours; 3 credits for 6 hours).
Please follow the guidelines outlined in the "Ming Chuan University Higher Education Sprout Project Funding Allocation Criteria" (https://reurl.cc/GA97RG) for related application matters.
Application Deadline: From now until November 15, 2024 (Friday) at 12:00 PM.
Completion Deadline: Courses for the Second Semester of the 2023 Academic Year must be finalized by June 30, 2024 (Monday). If not completed, please assist in filling out the electronic form (Form No. 2379) to return all funds. (Please submit the completion report and finalize expenses within 10 days after the event.)
Completion Report (must be submitted electronically to the Moodle section of the Higher Education Sprout Project): Includes industry expert information, course content and materials, photo collection, teacher and student satisfaction surveys, and student feedback. Please refer to the format at https://tec.mcu.edu.tw/content/%E6%96%87%E4%BB%B6%E4%B8%8B%E8%BC%89.
Remarks:
To ensure a certain depth and breadth of the program, each teacher is limited to applying for a maximum of two courses. If a course does not take place for any reason, the requested funds cannot be repurposed. In such cases, the teacher must fill out the "Higher Education Sprout Project Fund Return Application Form" (Form No. 2379) in the electronic form system to process the return.
This program will be unified and signed by the Sprout Office (if advance payments or hiring letters are needed, you will still need to sign them yourself). However, please ensure you complete the reimbursement process yourself.
In response to the Ministry of Education’s revision on October 15, 2024, under document number Tai Jiao Hui (3) Zi No. 1134400978A, the revised content states that the daily meal allowance per person for lunch and dinner has been adjusted to NT$120 per meal.
